Christina Mitchell is a master colorist, visual artist, herbalist, and educator. She started honing her craft in 2009 at the acclaimed AVEDA institute in Minneapolis and has continued her education with Oribe, Bumble and Bumble, Davines, Pravana, and Pulp Riot. Likewise, she uses her background in oil painting, her spiritual and herbal connection to the plant world, and her esoteric interests in tarot cards and dungeons and dragons to create a magical world where hair care is fun, inspired, and empowered. 

Christina specialises in hand painted balayage, foilayage, and outstanding vivids. She has a knack for low maintenance hair and a keen understanding of textures and curls, razor cuts, shags, beachy texture and bohemian hair. Christina believes that our relationship to our hair is akin to a spiritual understanding, and connection with ourselves and the outside world. In addition to the normal cuts, colors and trims she offers, you can get a custom hair ritual experience with a tarot reading, in salon treatments and the education and a recipe for a take home ritual as an additional service. 

All of Christina’s prices are gender neutral as she strives to be inclusive to all gender identity, and fluidity. She treats the salon as a sacred space where POC, and marginalized people are encouraged and welcome. Christina will hold space for each person that comes into her chair.
